Koltrast strives to lead the world in premium heated apparel, where design and technology unite to give people the possibility to experience more, in any climate.
Where it started
It all began with one of the founders, Patrik (who is always freezing) started working in the film industry. Long days on set often meant standing still in biting cold, with thick borrowed jackets or disposable warmers as the only options – temporary fixes rather than real solutions.
That’s when the idea was born: why should it be so difficult to stay warm in our Nordic climate? What if clothing didn’t just trap body heat, but could actually create it?
This was the beginning of our journey: to make warmth something you can count on.
Where we are
After many tests and prototypes, we arrived at our first product with integrated heating – the heated vest. We chose to start there because it’s easy to wear in almost any situation: at work, during outdoor activities, or simply on a cold day in the city. The vest provides warmth where it’s needed most, without limiting movement or style. For us, it became the perfect starting point for Koltrast – where function meets comfort.
Where we are going
This is only the beginning. We are constantly developing new products, and our goal remains the same: to deliver the quality and functionality you deserve. We want to build a brand that makes everyday life easier and warmer – whether you’re in the city, in the mountains, or simply going about your day.
