We started Koltrast in October with a clear ambition: to create heat products that do more than protect against the cold, products that genuinely make everyday life easier for people living in a cold climate.
In just a few months, we have grown faster than we initially expected. We have received a great deal of positive feedback from customers who appreciate the quality, comfort and feel of our products. We are genuinely grateful for this and see it as confirmation that we are on the right path. Looking ahead, our goal is clear: to continue in the same direction and strive for complete customer satisfaction.
As we enter our first full year as a brand, we want to be transparent about what we aim to achieve. These are our New Year’s resolutions for the year ahead.
1. More heat products for more needs
One of our key goals is to expand our range of heat products.
Over the coming year, we aim to develop products such as heated jackets, heated socks, heated blankets, heated hoodies, heated insoles and heated sweaters for dogs etc. We also want to create heat garments that are clearly adapted to different activities and contexts - from everyday life and work to outdoor use and more sedentary environments.
As we expand our range, we will continue to design our products with a Scandinavian, minimalist approach, focusing on clean lines, functional details, and timeless aesthetics. Our goal is to create heat products that feel natural to wear and easy to integrate into everyday life, without compromising on performance.
2. Quality, comfort and modern technology
The feedback we have received from our customers has reinforced something fundamental to us: quality should be noticeable, long-lasting and comfortable to use.
Our commitment is to continue focusing on material selection, fit, and durability, while incorporating the latest available heating technology. The ambition is that each new product should be carefully considered, reliable and an improvement on the last.
3. Products that help where heat truly matters
For many people, heat is more than a matter of comfort. For individuals with disabilities, mobility challenges or circulation issues, warmth can be essential to daily functioning.
One of our important goals is to continue developing products that help these groups move more freely, reduce stiffness and make everyday tasks easier. This perspective will remain central in both our product development and design process.
4. To become Sweden’s leading heat-product brand
Our long-term goal is to establish Koltrast as Sweden’s leading brand for heat products. This is not about growing quickly at any cost, but about building trust through quality, functionality and long-term thinking.
We want Koltrast to be a natural choice for anyone looking for heat products designed for cold conditions.
5. Women’s collections and future children’s collections
Everyone should be able to stay warm. Over the coming year, we plan to develop dedicated women’s collections with improved fit and function, and, over time, children’s collections as well.
The foundation remains the same: functional garments that are comfortable to wear and practical in everyday life.
In summary
We are still at the beginning of our journey, but our direction is clear. We want to continue building on the trust we have earned, develop better products and keep customer satisfaction at the center of everything we do.
We’re grateful to everyone who has supported us so far. It truly means a lot. We look forward to continuing this mission together - building a future where the cold no longer holds us back.
